3net keen on kids series

Fledgling 3D cabler 3net is stocking up on kidvid with several new programming deals.The network, Discovery Communications' joint venture with Sony and Imax, has ordered two animated 3D kidvid series for its weekend programming block that includes animated series "Bolts & Blip" and "Dream Defenders." Those series will preem in primetime on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. before moving to their regular time slot of 10-11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The net has ordered 26 half-hours for each show."Bolts & Blip" follows the titular pair of robot buddies, who are both anxious to become battle-bots so that they can play in the Lunar League of Robot Sports. Series is produced by ToonBox Entertainment in partnership with South Korean shingle Red Rover Co. Ltd.Tiny Island's "Dream Defenders" tracks the progress of Zane and Zoey, twins who defend the universe from the nightmarish creatures of Dreamworld and its ruler, Icela.The network will also show Sony Pictures kidpics in 3D, though it did not say what titles or when. Yeah, it's the start of a few days and our local movie publicists are inundating us with posters, photographs and videos for a few of the approaching films they are flacking for. So within the interest of serving the higher commonweal, here's the very first still in the supernatural thriller 'The Lady in Black,' starring Daniel Radcliffe the most recent poster from FilmDistrict's 'Drive' a music video for 'Fright Evening,' and also the new poster for 'Safe,' starring Jason Statham. Within the CBS Films thriller 'The Lady in Black,' Radcliffe plays a youthful lawyer who travels to some remote village where he finds out the vengeful ghost of the scorned lady is terrorizing the local people. The film, which opens February. 3, 2012, also stars Ciarán Hinds, Jesse McTeer and Rob Dooley. Next may be the new poster for 'Drive' a thriller that got a bit of good buzz moving only at that year's Festival p Cannes ... and it has been moving strongly since. The short synopsis for that film -- which stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac and Ron Perlman -- A Hollywood stunt artist who moonlights like a wheelman finds out that the contract continues to be placed on him following a heist gone wrong. 'Drive' opens Sept. 16. The state 'No One Thinks Me' Kid Cudi music video was launched today for that Disney remake of 'Fright Evening,' which stars Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, David Tennant and Imogen Poots. This is an evil affair. Take a look before th film opens a few days ago. And, lastly, Lionsgate via IGN just first showed the brand new poster for 'Safe', starring Jason Statham. Within the thriller from author-director Boaz Yakin, Statham shows an old elite operative who must safeguard a teenager girl (Catherine Chan) in the criminals. The cast includes Chris Sarandon, Robert John Burke, Reggie Lee, Danny Hoch and James Hong, and opens March. 28.

Gavin DeGraw Released From Hospital

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Gavin DeGraw has been released from a New York-area hospital, a rep for the musician confirmed to Access Hollywood. DeGraw, the singer behind the hit I Dont Want To Be, was hospitalized on Sunday after he was attacked by a group of men in New York City. Hi my friends, the singer Tweeted on Tuesday. Honestly, I dont remember much. I only know I can recover from here. Thank u all for your genuine concern. I love u guys. Following the incident, which authorities are still investigating, DeGraw was taken to NYCs Bellevue Hospital. Gavin DeGraw is currently recovering and in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital where he was taken late Sunday night by ambulance after he was attacked by a group of assailants, his rep said in an earlier statement to Access Hollywood. He suffers from a concussion, broken nose, black eyes, cuts and bruises. The police are conducting an investigation of the attack, the statement continued. Gavin and his family appreciate everyones concern at this time. DeGraw has since had to cancel a concert on Tuesday in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and an appearance on Live! With Regis & Kelly. For Richard Ayoade's next film.... Given how solid IT Crowd co-star Richard Ayoade's first film switched out - Submarine, just in case you had been crazy enough to not view it - it's really no surprise that he's bringing in top title talent for his follow-up. So it has demonstrated to become, with Vulture confirming that Jesse Eisenberg will star within the Double. The casting has not been formally introduced at this time, so we are likely to let that one straddle the mobile phone industry's of rumour and fact for the time being. But when it certainly pans out, it is good news. Nevertheless, Ayoade has not selected something simple for his second stab at filmmaking: he's adapting Fyodor Dostoyevsky's eponymous novella. Nor acquainted with it? Not really a shock, however the fundamental story finds a Russian government clerk whose existence starts to break apart when the same guy, right lower towards the particulars of his existence and including his title, begins employed in his office. As this is an indie production, we doubt Ayoade is going to be spending money about the technology David Fincher accustomed to produce the Winklevoss twins within the Social Networking, but a double dose of Eisenberg being paranoid and restless seems like it might work.
